Project Server Video: Managing Projects Effectively
This part of the EPM demo focuses on how the Microsoft EPM solution can help Project Managers effectively manage their projects.
This includes demonstrating how project team members can record the time spent working on project tasks by reporting task progress and by completing timesheets, and how they can submit written updates on their tasks using status reports either directly from a web browser using Project Web Access or from Microsoft Office Outlook.
The Project Manager can then log onto Project Web Access to approve or reject the information submitted by project team members.
The collaboration available through Project Workspaces is also shown, as well as the ability to store project documents and to report any issues or risks that may affect the project.
