This part of the EPM demo focuses on selecting a prioritised and optimised portfolio of projects that meet a company's key business drivers. Utilising Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Server 2007, executives within one business can prioritise the business drivers, resulting in a list of key business drivers each with a percentage priority.
The entire portfolio of projects can then be optimised against this list of ordered business drivers to show the impact that each project will have against each business driver and the company's overall strategy. Other factors such as financial impact and risk of projects, as well as available budget and resources can be taken into consideration.
Using Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Server 2007, an organisation can select an optimised portfolio of projects that will best align to their business drivers while also considering any cost, resource or compliance limitations - helping you DO THE RIGHT THINGS
